Recently I went through my family photos and found a few to add to this blog. The first is a photo that Tom took of me in the Marin headlands, one of Tom’s and my own very favorite hiking places. I posted it under “hiking in marin: the batteries, the dipsea trail, and beyond.”
Also, I discovered that I had photographed a couple of Grandpa Bill’s paintings, then on the wall at his apartment in Venice. The first is my favorite of his paintings:
The second is a picture of a swan, which along with the tiger, was on the wall in Ida and Bill’s apartment for many years:
In addition, I discovered that I had photographed a picture, also on the wall in Venice, of myself and my brothers Fred and Billy. It was taken around 1960, when I was 12 years old, Billy was about 2, and Fred was about 14.
